About Therapy

Let’s be honest: it takes energy to keep showing up when you’re running on empty. You push through your days, smile when it’s expected, and keep meeting responsibilities... but inside, you’re worn thin. Therapy offers a space to pause, exhale, and begin tending to what’s underneath the surface.

  • “I feel like I’m constantly on edge.”

  • “I’m exhausted from taking care of everyone else.”

  • “I’m questioning my identity.”

  • “I feel alone, even around people I love.”

  • “I’m scared to ask for help.”

  • “I’m not sure what’s next, but I know I can’t keep going like this.”

Next Steps:

If you’re ready, or even just curious, offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help you decide if therapy feels right for you. You deserve care that centers you. Let this be the beginning of that.

  • Small steps count

  • You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.

  • There’s strength in asking for help

  • Wanting more peace, clarity, or rest is enough

  • Just because you’ve managed alone doesn’t mean you have to keep doing it alone.

  • Wanting to feel better is enough reason to begin.

Sliding scale options available. If finances are a barrier, let’s talk. Therapy should be accessible… no hoops, no shame.

Remember...

About Kathy:

For nearly a decade, I’ve supported people carrying quiet grief, identity questions, and the weight of trying to hold it all together. Therapy with me offers space to breathe, reflect, and begin again.

Support Without Judgement:

I’ve walked alongside individuals navigating grief, anxiety, chronic stress, caregiving, identity exploration, OCD, and burnout.

My path into therapy was built on advocacy and heart. I believe in creating spaces where people don’t have to earn care or shrink themselves to be supported.

I meet people where they are… with warmth, respect, and a deep belief in their capacity to reconnect with strength, truth, and wholeness.

These are my photographs. I’m drawn to what’s easy to miss, subtle light, weathered textures, quiet beauty. That’s how I see people, too. With soul, with story, with softness.

To nurture your soul means tending to your emotional, mental, physical, sexual, creative, and spiritual well-being, especially the parts that are easy to overlook or push aside.

What “soul” means here:

  • The part deep within you, your real thoughts and feelings.

  • Your emotional and moral core, your sense of self.

  • The unspoken thread running through your lived experience.

  • The part of you still reaching for connection, healing, and peace.

  • It’s honoring your full humanity with care, presence, and compassion.

What is “Nurturing Our Souls?”

“In the quiet moments, your soul speaks. Therapy is where we learn to listen.”

My approach is eclectic, trauma-informed, and grounded in warmth. We go at your pace and only use tools that feel helpful.

Modalities I may draw from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): for shifting patterns and inner dialogue

  • Mindfulness: to pause, slow down, and listen inward

  • Humanistic Therapy: honoring your story and values

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): building on what’s already working

  • Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT): for healing past wounds

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT): for navigating hard thoughts while moving toward your values

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): for coping, staying present, and feeling grounded

How We’ll Work Together:

IMG_4261.jpeg
  • A space that’s truly yours, without pressure, without judgment

  • Conversations that feel human, not clinical or scripted

  • Realness, humor, emotion, or silence… whatever feels right in the moment

  • Support that meets you where you are, not where you think you should be

  • Room to talk through patterns, pain, questions, or just the weight of being human

  • A therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and care
